Wellness is more than green smoothies and gym memberships. True wellness looks at the whole person—mind, body, spirit, and environment.

Whole-person wellness includes:
- Emotional well-being: How we process stress and emotions
- Spiritual health: Connection, purpose, or faith
- Social support: Having safe, affirming relationships
- Environmental wellness: Living in safe, healthy spaces
- Financial wellness: Stability that reduces stress
Too often, wellness is marketed as a luxury, but it’s a necessity. Community-centered, culturally relevant wellness practices are key to closing health gaps. I've strategically identified community partnerships that replenish and rejuvenate along the health journey. Why? Because lifestyle change is emotional work. You're bound to find something in your lifestyle that is a coping mechanism for one of the areas above that is out of sorts. And if we're not surrounded by people who will support and lift us up, that could be the difference between success and stopping.
Your wellness is not selfish—it’s your foundation. Start where you are and expand from there.
Your LivingScript: Look at that list of 5. Rank them from the space you feel the most whole to the area with the most opportunity.
Where shall we start?
